It's been my mission for that last few weeks leading up to the 4th of July to build a grill. Last Saturday, just in time, I found the most important component, a car rim, and put it in place. We would have a BBQ chicken feast on the 4th!

And feast we did... through the combined efforts of us and some other American volunteers, we had a complete American spread: BBQ grilled chicken, Buffalo fried chicken, Mac' n Cheese, zesty cabbage and cucumber salad, potato salad, chocolate cake, a cooler full of ice and choice of beverage (a truly beautiful thing).

Your fireworks were better than mine, for sure! I'm not convinced about the barbecue though.
